Hi,

when i want to initalize Cacti I get error

mysql -h db -uroot -proot_password cacti < /var/www/html/cacti/cacti.sql

Yea, I've seen this especially on MariaDB 11.8. We've been working around in corners to date now.

Hi,

the mysql Client version is 8.4

The Server Version is mariadb 10.6.25

So guess the client is not fully compatible. Is there a way to get it working on both?

Hi,

I removed mysql-client and installed mariadb-client, then I can import cacti.sql with

mysql -h db -uroot -proot_password cacti --skip-ssl < /var/www/html/cacti/cacti.sql

What do you think it best here ?

What should these Values are in Mysql config?

join_buffer_size=-8M
sort_buffer_size=-81M

Seems like there are some deprecated php functions

Can you test Cacti with php 8.5 ? So far i have no Errors while using it.
