Setting to auto-erase history when closed re-enables itself

Every now and then (I assume when the browser is updated) I discover that the setting to erase the browser history on quit has re-enabled itself again. I don't use bookmarks so this is very annoying.

This setting keeps wiping out my browser history. This behavior should be available, but certainly not default.
