I've just noted that RHEL7 RC is now available. It might be useful to add this new OS to the current test bed.. RHEL 7.0 was released on the 10th June

You folks might want to assign this as a 2.1 milestone to get if off the to-do list

RHEL 7.1 was released in March 2015, so it's probably worth considering adding this to the standard platform list for binary distributions and test builds..

@doutriaux1 @aashish24 reopening this and updating the milestone to 3.0 - I think a redhat7.x machine should be added to the buildbot suite. A number of collaborators are now using redhat7 as their default environments. Additionally, we do have a local (LLNL) machine available and that could be configured - pcmdi10.llnl.gov

@doutriaux1 @aashish24 when you get to further tweaking the botsuite it'd be great to add a redhat7 machine to the mix.. As noted above pcmdi10 is ready and waiting..

I also think this should be a 2.6er
