Boost Note 1.50.4 Web App
Chrome OS

@Komediruzecki this is a follow up of the conversation #1178. I don't know if you are the sole maintainer of Boost Note, but this issue could have more exposure. To me it seems more like a UX bug in the sense of the current UI design is limiting editing on a small screen.

The issue

The combo toolbar + title takes up a lot of vertical space in Edit mode and Edit & Preview mode. This particularly noticeable on a small screen size, e.g. 12.1 inches. It doesn't leave much space for editing.

I have compared with a non-markdown web application (Notion) I often use. It also has toolbar, but it's more minimal.

As discussed previously, if the title could be hidden as it is in the preview mode, that would be great, but maybe you (or another person of the team) have a better solution or idea?

PS: Thanks again for fixing the left panel.

Hi, WeberAlex,

thanks for opening the issue, I'll see what we can do about it.

P.S. not sole maintainer, you can look at developer list in our GitHub readme: https://github.com/BoostIO/BoostNote-App, and at the right is contributors list.
