Do the Backlinks work with nested models?

I have a situation similar to the following:

class Item(BaseModel):
    insertion_date = str
    owner: Link["Person"]


class Container(Document):
    name: str
    items: Optional[List[Item]] = Field(default_factory=list)

    class Settings:
        name = "containers"


class Person(Document):
    name: Optional[str]
    containers: Optional[List[BackLink[Container]]] = Field(original_field="items")

    class Settings:
        name = "persons"

Basically, the link between a container and an item is in a nested object of the Container. Is it possible to define the BackLink in the Person class so I can see which Containers a person owns some items? I tried for example original_field="items.item" but it seems not to work
