Could you please specify if you run BOINC client as a regular application or as a service?

You did not ask for more information, or if you did, I did not see your email.
Update:
That computer is now using version 8.0.2; how it got there I don’t recall. BOINC does not recognize any GPUs on startup still. What I have to do is stop BoincMgr with Task Manager or thru the system tray and restart it by selecting it in the start menu. On the second pass, it sees both GPUs. The problem may be the way Boi9incMgr is called on a boot or reboot. I use the scheduler to start it at log on. When I just did that a few minutes ago, Boinc never showed its main window, it did not recognize any video cards, and the Boinc icon did not appear in the system tray, although BoincTasks could and did communicate with it. It was not doing any work. All was cured by restarting it via the start menu. I am unable to start Boinc on any computer with the scheduler.
Making Boinc self-starting with Windows and opening port 31416 on installation so BoincCmd and BoincTasks work, like the installer used to, would be a huge, huge help.
Thank you for all your hard work,
Charles Elliott

@CElliott316, could you please send me the next files:
I'm pretty much sure you have your BOINC installed as a service, but I need to double check to be sure. |
Boinc is not installed as a service; it is a regular application.
The files you asked for are attached in a zip file.
