VIP not reassigned to primary node after pod is getting back online #2

for some reason the reassigning sometimes is not working correctly - I assume the reconnecting and watching for new events is not working correctly.

a workaround for the moment is to restart the pod.

i'll try to fix this as soon as possible if I find time :(
