Tutorial assumes Europe. (https://github.com/Artemmkin/infrastructure-as-code-tutorial/blob/master/docs/01-prerequisites.md)

Set a default compute region:
$ gcloud config set compute/region europe-west1
Set a default compute zone:
$ gcloud config set compute/zone europe-west1-b

Recommend pointing student to https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/regions-zones
