it seems AppImage launcher can't remove the desktop icons because of libappimage as the developer said there

I confirm this on Fedora. When uninstalling old versions and installing new ones, we have duplicate icons that eventually lead to the wrong icons being shown in the desktop integration. Is there any ETA for fixing this?
