Yes, when testing manual PVID, my interface was configured to not use vlan. I took a look at an earlier omci log, and from what I can see, ME 84, 171 were not configured with usable values. OMCI dump, filtered to show 84, 171
If I had to guess, the vlan configuration is done on the vendor-specific ID 65322? This is the only instance of the vlan value 931 as an integer: 65320 seems to configure the interface too? First message with a name, and subsequent message with the vlan "931" again, this time as a string: |

it seem OLT trying to assign and bridge the port, as PON Stick don't have it, let's try update to these firmware and compare both if you in SFU (non hybrid), try set PVID again: perhaps it would be nice to factory reset after update the firmware next 24 hours I delete the link, those new fw still in validation by community |

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Tried both firmware images:
Again, for both devices, I could get O5 but no vlan data. |

Yes, that was one of the variables that I changed when I first started. In hindsight it was probably a bad idea. I previously ran into an issue where the state would switch from O2-O5 briefly, then remain in a O2-O3 loop. Not sure if that is linked to a failed mackey. I could not properly reset the device so I wiped the configuration partition and settled on the configuration that's shown on the first post. That setup could at least allow for a stable O5 (i.e. what we have now) except there is no vlan data, even in the raw omci packets. |

Hi folks,
This documents my progress on ViewQwest SG. This doesn't work yet, but I figured that it could still be helpful to someone.
Hardware
ISP Hardware: Fiberhome HG6240A
Replacement Hardware: DFP-34X-2C2, stock firmware (V1.0-220923) transparent mode, connected through a gigabit media converter, which is also connected to an x86 OpenWrt PC.
Status
l2-table get entry address valid
automatically has an entry for Vid 931, matches shown vlan on fiberhome ont admin page... butomcicli mib get 84
shows VID 0 for all entries. hmmmConfiguration
OpenWrt, eth1 (GbE) connected to media converter:
Expected result
OpenWrt should have automatically picked up an address over DHCP and stuff should then magically work.
Original ONT configuration
Extra notes:
DFP-34X-2C2 does not appear to work on the Mellanox ConnectX-3.
The stick seems to be stuck in configuration, every ~234 seconds, the device pops up for exactly 20 seconds, and then goes back down again.
FWIW, the CX3 does not claim to support 2.5g anywhere.
