JavaScript crash with my iseven function

Problem
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
My iseven function crashes the JavaScript on any web page in Thorium but doesn't in Chrome or Firefox or if I modify it slightly.

My iseven function is causing JavaScript freezes on Thorium but this doesn't happen in Chrome or Firefox, furthermore if I modify it slightly to include a console.log it doesn't crash for some reason.

Add any other context about the problem here.
I don't know if this is an issue with the browser version being older. I couldn't figure out how to download old versions of Chrome.

Yeah a few, but disabling all of them doesn't fix it
