Get rid of "red color on bold text

Hi, maybe I am blind, but I cannot find a way to get rid of the red coloring of bold text. Also, when setting the headings to use the accent color, they also use this red, instead of the actual accent color set in the Style Settings plugin. Also, I would like for italic text to not have a color. In the text settings, none of the text format have a color assigned, so looks like a bug to me.

Have you tried using Style Settings @andreasputlitz ? Pretty sure I changed it with style settings.

Yes, as I said, I am using the Style Settings plugin, and it doesn't have any effect, in that there is no color specified for the bold text - nor is this red specified anywhere else. Still the bold text is red. It only happens when using the borders theme, and also on a completely fresh install.

As you can see though, this red is also used for some text in the settings. But I have no idea where it comes from. As soon as I switch to another theme, it is gone though:

I swear when I first downloaded this theme, the default bold was black. Today it was red. Maybe I have no clue what I'm talking about but anyway, I guess something I did took precedence over the theme style setting for text. Go into the text dropdown under Editor in the theme's style settings and change the bold (I also had to change inline code color because it was like yellow) and it should work.

Hi,

This theme settings in the "Style settings" plugin are in the ROOT LEVEL (not in sublevel, like other plugins do).

Maybe this is not the case, but I also see ==interference== with other installed themes.
For example inline code text color has the color I set for the "Things Theme" inline code. The same for the external links colors.
All my snippets are turned off. And there is no such issue with other themes.

So It seems Border Theme has interference with other themes.

Maybe you could make the one top level item for the "Border Theme" in "Style settings". And then put subitems accordingly. It a good approach.
As well please consider to check weather Border Theme variables or something inside interfere with Things Theme.
