winpalleter completelly destroy my windows color setup....... #223

I installed winpaletter and the original settings have not been saved after install. No way to get back to my original setting before the tools was installed.
Uninstallation de not recover color before installing the software. This is for me as dangerous as a virus !

I cannot find a combination that is working for me, i always have clear text on clear backgound or black text on dark backgroud (specially in dark mode). So in all the configuration i tried i always have unusable menu or file selection dialog or .......
All was working fine before i installed win palleter and now i'm stuck with supid colors making some of the dialog or menu unreadable.
Why not having a backup of settings as it was to have it restored when uninstalling this "stuff".

Why not having a report that could clearly expose saturation matching between backgound and text.

There is a backup feature that is already implemented:

You must have edited classic colors, you can restore them to defaults and then press on apply:

If you want a full dark mode support, try a custom visual styles instead.


And there is a backup to default Windows settings (press this button then apply) (it will reset everything in preferences):
