Legend symbols missing in layer panel (LWC3.7.3 regression)

What is the bug? (in English)

There are no more symbols for the categories of a layer

Steps to reproduce the issue

I just upgraded from LWC to 3.7.3 from 3.7.2. With 3.7.2 the category symbols were still there

Versions, safeguards, check summary etc

LWC 3.7.3
QGIS Server 3.28
LWC QGIS Server plugin: 2.8.4

Check Lizmap plugin

• I have done the step just before in the Lizmap QGIS desktop plugin before opening this ticket. Otherwise, my ticket is not considered valid and might get closed.

Probably your cache ? I use the same version and the symbol are well displayed

no, I checked it on different browsers / private mode / different PCs. Also deleted all Themes so it is not a remnant of one of them, to no avail :(

Ok, through extensive testing I found the culprit - having a (point)-layer with "no symbology" (but labeling active) breaks the legend symbols for any other layer:

Can you try latest package on https://packages.3liz.org/

We will make 3.7.4 shortly.

sorry that i did not make it in time to test the pre-release - 3.7.4. gave me back my legend! Thank you so much for your great work!!
